Application is best achieved by dipping the pre-cut timber, with the length of time left soaking being dependent on, type of timber, density of the timber, moisture content and timber profile. As a rule of thumb, soaking overnight is more than adequate. Alternative methods for application would be brushing or spraying onto fixtures such as fences, building frames etc., but best results are obtained by soaking overnight where practicable.
